Abstract
Coumarin-6 (C6) molecules were incorporated into HMS-type molecular sieves with different titanium contents by impregnation method. The host/guest composites were characterized by absorption and fluorescence (steady state fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime) spectra. The results indicated that the C6 amounts incorporated into HMS increase with the increasing of isolated Ti4+ in the samples, the fluorescence intensities decrease with the increasing of Ti content in these samples. Biexponential decays of fluorescence were observed when C6 molecules were incorporated into HMS.
