Abstract
⺠Transmission line resonator principle is used to realize small inductively coupled planar coils. ⺠Implanted coils are coated with PDMS to ensure short term compatibility. ⺠Coating reduces the resonance frequency shift and the losses induced by the sample. ⺠The coil is implanted in rat brain and inductively coupled to an external coil. ⺠In vivo rat brain MRI is performed at 7 T with the implanted microcoil.
