Abstract
⺠Suppression of “background” signals in 1H MAS NMR discussed. ⺠Significant loss of desired signal with “depth pulse” experiments analysed. ⺠New passband depth pulse sequences proposed. ⺠Based on novel antisymmetric composite 180° pulses. ⺠Shown to yield increased signal in 1H MAS while retaining background suppression.
