Abstract
⺠Electron spin-lattice relaxation of Ti2+ and Cu2+ is governed by Raman processes. ⺠The relaxation time 1/T1 theory using real phonon spectra of a crystal is presented. ⺠Debye approximation underestimates 1/T1 at low and overestimated at high temperature.
