Abstract
⺠Quantitative 3-D mapping of velocity field in sedimentary rock cores is discussed. ⺠The proposed MRI method employs restricted k- and q-space sampling. ⺠3-D imaging of flow velocity was performed with spatial resolution of 1 mm. ⺠The measurements agree with a general trend for permeability to increase with the porosity.
