Abstract
► A more complete interpretation of the γ image contrast is proposed. ► γ is the stretching parameter of the Anomalous Diffusion Imaging model. ► γ stretching contrast reflects local magnetic susceptibility differences. ► γ contrast highlights interfaces and boundaries better than T2∗, Gint and MD contrast.
