Abstract
► We design composite RF pulses with immunity to static and RF field inhomogeneities. ► Slice-selection is accomplished via an oscillating gradient. ► Flip-angle uniformity is improved in a phantom and in the human brain at 7 T. ► Arbitrary flip angles and total pulse durations less than 10 ms are possible. ► Pulses are designed for single-channel transmission and are not subject-specific.
