Abstract
⺠We design composite RF pulses with immunity to static and RF field inhomogeneities. ⺠Slice-selection is accomplished via an oscillating gradient. ⺠Flip-angle uniformity is improved in a phantom and in the human brain at 7 T. ⺠Arbitrary flip angles and total pulse durations less than 10 ms are possible. ⺠Pulses are designed for single-channel transmission and are not subject-specific.
