Abstract
⺠We simulated the 1D NMR profiles in the presence of metallic substrates. ⺠The susceptibility effect is negligible in the strong field gradient. ⺠The eddy current in the metal plate dramatically affects the B1 field distribution. ⺠More RF power is needed to compensate the eddy current effect. ⺠Effect of Eddy current was quantified in this study.
