Abstract
âºFrank-sequence excitation is employed for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. ⺠It allows reduction of peak rf power by several orders of magnitude. ⺠2D images are shown acquired by Frank excitation and filtered backprojection imaging schemes. ⺠Combination of Frank sequence with low-power, slice-selective SPREAD technique allows for 3D Frank MRI.
