Abstract
►Frank-sequence excitation is employed for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. ► It allows reduction of peak rf power by several orders of magnitude. ► 2D images are shown acquired by Frank excitation and filtered backprojection imaging schemes. ► Combination of Frank sequence with low-power, slice-selective SPREAD technique allows for 3D Frank MRI.
