Abstract
⺠Strong internal gradients generate apparent susceptibility induced anisotropy (aSIA). ⺠Effects of aSIA in single- and angular double-PFG MR were studied in porous systems. ⺠The aSIA effects masked the microstructural information for both methods. ⺠Application of bipolar gradients recovered meaningful signal decay for both methods. ⺠Only bipolar-d-PFG MR reported on underlying structural features when eA was absent.
