Abstract
⺠A novel method of shim induced eddy current field compensation in dynamic shimming is presented. ⺠The method does not require shim shielding, hardware compensation or individual prescanning. ⺠Steady state behavior of the eddy fields is characterized with interaction vectors. ⺠Interaction vectors are sample and shim pattern independent allowing for generalized use. ⺠Large reductions in field gradients, significant image quality improvements are demonstrated.
