Abstract
⺠A novel RF coil is described for micro-MRI of trabecular bone at 7 T. ⺠Simulations of the B1 field and SAR agree with experimental results. ⺠In vivo MR images of the distal tibia show improved visibility of trabeculae. ⺠SNR increases approximately linearly compared to 1.5 T and 3 T.
