Abstract
⺠A 45° purging pulse suppresses signal distortions caused by J-modulation in DOSY. ⺠Purging allows much longer gradient pulses, extending the diffusion range of DOSY. ⺠Effect of peak overlap on apparent diffusion coefficient is analysed and explained.
