Abstract
The FH-T5 xerogels from the mixtures of ethanol and ethylene glycol showed the co-existence of the sphere-like particles or rod-like aggregates and fibers, which exhibited similar molecular packing (Colh). The FH-T5 gels exhibited shorter gelation time and larger growth dimension of fibers (Df value) compared to that in ethanol.161
