Abstract
In this research polyaniline‑tin(II)molybdophosphate has been synthesized by polyaniline and inorganic tin(IV)molybdophosphate via a simple and economical method. To characterize the synthesized nanocomposite, it was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X- ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, dot mapping and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. To investigate the efficiency of polyaniline‑tin(II)molybdophosphate, removal of Malachite Green dye was carried out at various adsorbent dosage, pH, dye concentration and temperature. As results, the removal of Malachite Green dye by polyaniline‑tin(II)molybdophosphate was reached to 93% at polyaniline‑tin(II)molybdophosphate dosage = 0.01 g/50 mL; pH = 10; dye concentration = 50 mg/L and 30 °C. Also, adsorption of Malachite Green dye by polyaniline‑tin(II)molybdophosphate was obeyed Freundlich isotherm. So, the synthesized polyaniline‑tin(IV)molybdophosphate nanocomposite can be considered as an effective adsorbent in removal of Malachite Green dye from water.
