Abstract
In this paper the polarization properties, static dielectric constant properties and hydrogen bond dynamic of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) aqueous solution were investigated under a non-polarized electric magnetic (E/M) field by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. It was found that the E/M field significantly influences the structure and reorientation dynamics of DMSO-H2O interactions. As the strength of E/M field increasing, the polarization and average hydrogen-bond number of water-water increase after a threshold of E/M field strength. But the static dielectric constant shows different trend after a threshold of E/M field strength. An empirical formula was proposed, predicting E/M field strength depending on the dielectric constant of DMSO aqueous solution.
