Abstract
In the present investigation excess volume and speed of sound were measured at 303.15 K. In turn the excess volume data is useful to calculate the density and the excess isentropic compressibility of the binary mixtures was computed from density and speed of sound data. The measured speed of sound data were compared with CFT and FLT models and VE and κsE data correlated with Redlich-Kister and Hwang equations. The results were explained on the bases of formations of intermolecular interactions between component molecules. FT-IR spectrum obtained at room temperature and equimolar concentration, it is useful to us explain the molecular interactions.
