Abstract
In this work transport properties of ammonium nitrate in N-methylformamide (NMF) and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) were investigated in order to explain the nature of solute-solvent interactions in diluted and concentrated ammonium nitrate solutions. The electrical conductivity was measured in the wide ammonium nitrate molality range in the temperature range from 303.15Â K up to 348.15Â K. Obtained results are compared with those obtained for the solutions of ammonium nitrate in formamide (FA). The molar conductivity of studied mixtures is also calculated, as well as dissociation constants of ammonium nitrate in FA, NMF and DMF.
