Abstract
Sorbitan monostearate (Span60) molecules adsorbed on the water surface were investigated using a classical molecular dynamics technique. This study reveals that the formation of a Span60 monolayer film is more stable over a wide range of temperatures. Hydrogen bonding plays a crucial role for the film stability.
