Abstract
⺠Binary solvent mixtures (DMSO + Water) were used. ⺠Sodium acetate trihydrate was used as an electrolyte. ⺠Density and sound velocity of binary solvent system in the presence of an electrolyte at different temperatures were measured. ⺠Apparent molar volume, partial molar volume, compressibility and partial molal isentropic compressibilites were calculated. ⺠Effect of different parameters on solute-solute, solute-solvent and solvent-solvent interactions have been discussed.
