Abstract
► Chiral dopants are synthesised. ► Chiral dopants were mixed with achiral host mixture HM1. ► Ferroelectric properties of synthesised ferroelectric liquid crystal were studied. ► Ferroelectric properties were found to be dependent upon the length of the alkyl chain and no of chiral centres.
