Abstract
⺠Macroscopic and molecular level interactions of water and MTBE have been determined. ⺠Co-solubilization in the presence of MTBE is another indirect fatal consequence of MTBE pollutant in environments. ⺠Ecotoxic effect of MTBE in model eukaryotic microorganism yeast shows the mode of action in the environment.
