Abstract
⺠An adsorptive removal method for the eradication of Eosin Yellow from wastewater has been proposed. ⺠Eosine Yellow is a highly toxic dye and even possesses carcinogenic characteristics. ⺠During the studies preliminary investigations, isotherm measurements and kinetic studies have been done. ⺠The bulk removal of the dye has been made by employing glass column as a fixed bed adsorber. ⺠Attempts have also been made to recover the Eosine Yellow by eluting dilute NaOH solution through exhausted column.
