Abstract
► Effect of short chain length alcohol on micellization of cationic surfactants studied by conductivity measurement. ► The cmc values of cationic gemini are lower than the monomeric surfactants. ► The cmc and α values of cationic surfactant increased with increasing solvent content and temperature. ► The values of (ΔG°m) are negative in all cases indicate the micelle formation process is spontaneous. ► The values of negative enthalpy indicate the importance of the London dispersion forces for micellization.
