Abstract
⺠This manuscript presents the results of kinetic measurements for the hydrolysis of a series of heteropoly anion-amino acids and the corresponding 12-heteropoly acids in aqueous buffer solutions. ⺠The effect of various parameters such as pH, buffer concentration, and the type of counter ion on degradation rate constants is investigated. ⺠Displacement of protons by amino acids as counter ion in POMs increases the stability of these complexes.
