Abstract
⺠Complex permittivity spectra of d-sorbitol-water mixtures were observed. ⺠From water to d-sorbitol, the dielectric loss peak shifts towards the lower frequency. ⺠Static dielectric constant increases with decrease in temperature. ⺠The relaxation time increases with decrease in temperature. ⺠The value of geff < 1, this indicates parallel orientation of electric dipoles in molecules.
