Abstract
⺠β-Cyclodextrin increases the critical micelle concentration of amitriptyline hydrochloride. ⺠Free energy of micellization suggests that the micellization becomes less favorable in presence of β-cyclodextrin. ⺠It was revealed from surface tension measurements that the complex was not surface active.
