Abstract
âºThe counterion influence on DNA low-frequency Raman spectra (< 200 cmâ1) is studied. âºThe spectra of DNA with Na+, Cs+, and Mg2+ counterions are calculated. âºInternal DNA modes (10-120 cmâ1) depend essentially on counterion type and position. âºDeveloped approach provides a way to study counterion role in DNA dynamics.
