Abstract
⺠Anionic surfactant SDS promotes the dye Sq-2Me ordered aggregation. ⺠In SDS micelles Sq-2Me forms J-type dimers of co-planar inclined geometry. ⺠Incorporation of another dye DiI into SDS micelles prevents the dimer formation.
