Abstract
⺠120 ionic liquids were used to obtain the contributions for 27 cation groups and 31 anion groups. ⺠Optimum parameters were obtained by a genetic algorithm-based on multivariate linear regression. ⺠The results show a deviation of 4% in the prediction of the thermal decomposition temperature of several ionic liquids.
