Abstract
⺠A RTIL containing reverse micellar system has been characterized. ⺠Silver nanoparticle was synthesized in the reverse micellar system "without" using any other solvent in the whole process. ⺠Average diameter of the silver nanoparticle was ~ 3 nm. ⺠A new approach to dissolve metal precursor in room temperature ionic liquid.
