Abstract
►In this study we reported the speeds of sound, u of different amino acids in aqueous lactose solutions. ► Various parameters, viz., Kϕ, s, Kϕ, s0, ΔKϕ, s0, nH, have been calculated. ► Their exists strong solute-solvent interactions i.e. hydrophilic-ionic and hydrophilic-hydrophilic interactions. ► Solute-solvent interactions increase with the increase in the concentration of lactose. ► Hydrophilic-hydrophobic and hydrophobic-hydrophobic interactions increases with the side chain of the amino acids.
