Abstract
⺠The surface tension of droplet surrounded by its vapor and droplet on solid surface is studied using MD simulation. ⺠The surface tension of droplet is a function of its radius regardless of presence of solid wall. ⺠Liquid pressure does not continually increase with the decrease in droplet radius and has a maximum value. ⺠The amount of surface tension from direct MD simulation and Y-L equation match each other. ⺠The amount of droplet/bubble curvature and its direction are effective parameters on surface tension.
