Abstract
⺠Thermophysical properties of dimethyl carbonate and ketones help to understand intermolecular interactions. ⺠Excess thermodynamic properties showed deviation from ideality. ⺠Empirical-semi empirical relations showed good agreement. ⺠Molecular size responsible for interstitial accommodation. ⺠Study showed significant effect of temperature on binary mixtures of dimethyl carbonate.
