Abstract
Viscosities at TÂ =Â (298.15 and 308.15) K and atmospheric pressure for binary liquid mixtures of cyclopentane with 2-propanol, 1-butanol, and 2-butanol over the whole composition range have been measured as a function of composition using an Ubbelohde viscometer. The deviations in viscosity and excess free energy of activation for viscous flow have been calculated from experimental data. Different correlations were used to correlate the viscosity data. The Bloomfield and Dewan model has been used to calculate viscosity coefficients which are compared with experimental data of the mixtures.
