Abstract
A problem of the stability determinant calculation of microemulsion systems has been considered. The analysis of the thermodynamic stability of microemulsions water-n-octane-sodium dodecyl sulfate-n-pentanol microemulsions as a function of the temperature and their composition has been carried out. It was shown that the change of the thermodynamic stability as a function of temperature and water/oil ratio inside the microemulsion series follows the general rules characteristic for liquids with different types of intermolecular bonds and structures.
