Abstract
Isothermal compressibility, thermal expansivity and ultrasonic velocity of forty two binary liquid mixtures at 298.15Â K have been calculated using hole theory for the first time. The calculated values thus obtained are found to be in fairly good agreement with experimental findings. The present study encourages the concept of the existence of holes in liquid mixtures.
