Abstract
Ultrasonic velocity studies were carried out in the waste mulberry silks (M.W 475) viz., CSR4 and CSR2 at 0.004% concentration in sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) solutions, the concentration of synthetic polymer polyethylene glycol (PEG) (M.W 6000) was varied to understand the nature of solute-solvent interactions in the natural/synthetic polymer in strong electrolytes.
