Abstract
A study has been made on the interaction of binary mixtures of benzonitrile and o-nitrophenol in benzene by an experimental approach at microwave frequency (9.985Â GHz) at different temperatures. From the measured dielectric data, the relaxation times, the dipole moments, thermodynamical parameters, such as free energy, enthalpy and entropy have been computed. Comparison has been established with that of the corresponding energy parameters from viscous flow studies. The dielectric relaxation process like viscous flow can be treated as rate processes. Solute -solvent and solute-solute type of molecular association have been established.
