Abstract
This paper presents novel organogelators based on long chain substituted benzoic acid hydrazine which can form stable gels in bulk organic solvents and self-assemble into various microstructures in organogel phases. It is found that hydrogen bonding and van der Waals interaction play an important role on the formation of organogel.
