An empirical line list for methane in the 1.25 μm transparency window

An empirical list of 12 708 lines for methane at room temperature is constructed by CRDS between 7908.5 and 8345 cm−1. The investigated spectral region corresponds to the high energy part of the 1.25 μm transparency window where experimental data were missing.
