Abstract
⺠The manuscript describes the measurement of absolute absorption cross sections for two selected lines in the near infrared. ⺠The only measurements in this region are from Staak et al. (J. Molec. Spectroscopy 229 (2005) 115-121). ⺠We have accurately determined the CH2O concentration by measuring their reactivity against OH radicals. ⺠The obtained absorption cross sections are two times lower than reported by Staak et al.
