Abstract
⺠Rotationally resolved Q-branch of the ν5 vibrational fundamental of 12CH313CH3 was observed by stimulated Raman spectroscopy. ⺠Frequencies from the torsional bands and ν12 and ν5 fundamentals were analyzed in a 3-state fit. ⺠A total of 4411 frequencies were included in the final fit. ⺠This fit yielded a set of high quality molecular parameters comparable to those previously reported for normal ethane. ⺠This work provides needed data for investigation of planetary atmospheres.
