Abstract
The line strengths, N2- and O2-broadened half-widths of CO2 bands in the 4.8- to 5.3-μm region are determined from spectra using a Fourier transform spectrometer at room temperature. Measured (11101-00001), (11102-00001), (12201-01101), and (20001-01101) bands of CO2 exhibit remarkable intensity perturbations. The squared vibrational transition dipole moments and Herman-Wallis factors are derived from the effective transition dipole moments. The air-broadened half-widths are obtained by using N2- and O2-broadened half-widths. The spectroscopic parameters obtained in this study are compared with the values in the HITRAN database and previous studies.
