Abstract
⺠Solid-state NMR studies focusing on the characterization of surface sites on solids are review. ⺠The paper gives an overview on probe molecules for investigating surface sites on solids. ⺠Methods for studying the reactivity of Brønsted and Lewis sites on solids are described. ⺠Examples for in situ studies of heterogeneously catalyzed reactions are given.
