Abstract
⺠We design a SLkMC technique for simulation of diffusion of embedded atoms. ⺠The formation of embedded Co nanostructures in Cu(100) is investigated. ⺠Time evolution of the surface can be divided into three stages. ⺠The morphology is observed at different temperatures and concentrations of Co. ⺠Magnetic properties of small embedded nanostructures are investigated.
