Abstract
⺠DFT calculations on the friction properties for H- and F-terminated diamond films. ⺠F-terminated diamond surface is more stable and chemically inert. ⺠The repulsive interactions between two F-terminated diamond films are stronger. ⺠H-terminated diamond films system has larger friction coefficients.
