Abstract
⺠Chlorine adsorption induces series of reconstructions on Cu(110). ⺠Light domain walls separating c(2 Ã 2) domains were detected at low coverage. ⺠At coverages above 0.5 ML, the uniaxial compression of chlorine takes place. ⺠Large chlorine exposure leads to the faceting of the Cu(110) surface.
