Abstract
⺠We apply a kinetic approach to calculate light scattering by metallic nanospheroids. ⺠Conductivity becomes a tensor when a free electron path exceeds particle's size. ⺠Effect of particles' shape on the half-widths of plasmon resonances is considered. ⺠Nanospheroids can scatter light better than nanospheres in a broad frequency range.
