Abstract
⺠Small Pt clusters distribution has been determined. ⺠Upon annealing at 825 K the area and height distribution of Pt clusters spread out. ⺠Pt dimer and trimer structures agree with previous theoretical calculations. ⺠No evidences of cluster encapsulation were observed for the 1 Ã 2 surface up to 825 K.
